Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PricedInBitcoin21 ("we," "our," "us," or the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. Nature of the Service
PricedInBitcoin21 is a data analytics platform that denominates asset prices in Bitcoin, gold, and other units of account. The Service is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other kind of professional advice. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions. We are not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial institution.
4. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account for suspicious activity or misuse.
5. PRO Subscriptions
PRO subscriptions are billed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the selected billing interval (monthly or annual). You may cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
6. Lightning Bets
Lightning Bets is a peer-to-peer prediction game operated on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. By using Lightning Bets, you acknowledge and accept the following:
- Lightning Bets is not a gambling service, financial product, or regulated exchange. It is an entertainment product.
- You may lose your entire deposited balance. Only deposit sats you can afford to lose.
- Deposits and withdrawals are processed over the Lightning Network. Transactions are irreversible.
- Recovery keys are shown once at account creation. We store only a secure hash. If you lose your recovery key and your session expires, your funds cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.
- Bet settlement is determined by asset prices in our database. Prices are sourced from third-party data feeds and may differ from other sources. Our price determination is final — there is no appeals process.
- We reserve the right to modify rules, fees, settlement procedures, or discontinue Lightning Bets at any time.
- We are not liable for any loss of funds due to software bugs, network issues, data feed errors, or any other cause.
7. Data Accuracy
We strive to maintain accurate and timely data, but all data is sourced from third parties and provided "as is." We make no guarantees regarding completeness, accuracy, reliability, or timeliness. Data may be delayed, contain errors, or have gaps. Asset prices, returns, indicators, and analytics outputs should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any financial decision.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically collect data from the Service without written authorization.
- Republish, redistribute, or resell data, charts, or analytics without a license from us.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy proprietary algorithms or designs.
- Bypass or interfere with rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or damages the Service.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, data visualizations, indicator designs, code, and trademarks on the Service are the property of PricedInBitcoin21 and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without prior written consent.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PricedInBitcoin21 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of funds, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to Lightning Bets.
Your total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PricedInBitcoin21, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your participation in Lightning Bets.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas, or through binding arbitration at our election.
